Clients are to avoid coffee and alcohol prior

Avoid any chemical peels, abrasive facials and Retin-A 2 weeks before treatment. 

Avoid Blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, Accutane, Aspirin, Niacin, and Vitamin E.

Avoid getting botox or fillers until 2 weeks after is safe.

Avoid UV damage in the week leading up to your appointment.

Avoid epilation (hair removal) 1 week before your treatment. 

After treatment avoid over exposure to sun. Wear sunscreen while in sun.

After avoid sweating for 3 days after treatment.

After avoid cosmetics with active ingredients for 3 to 7 days.

After treatment redness may show for 24 to 72 hrs.

After its best to avoid alcohol for 7 days because of its dehydrating properties.

-High blood pressure or heart conditions

-Taking blood thinners such as aspirin or similar medications

-Diabetes

-Pregnant or Lactating

-Glaucoma

-Herpes simplex

-Certain skin conditions e.g eczema, psoriasis, rashes or blisters.

-Hypertrophic scarring or keloids

- Blood disorder e.g. haemophilia, sickle cell anemia, or a platelet disorder

-Spider veins or a birthmark in the eyebrow brow area. 

-Taking steroids such as cortisone, Accutane, Retin-A or Renova.

-Avoid botox or fillers 2 weeks before treatment and waxing

If any of these contraindications apply to you. We can discuss in further detail

if and why these may prevent us from performing permanent makeup.

Clients are to avoid coffee and alcohol prior.

Avoid tinting or waxing of the brow area prior 2 weeks before.

After avoid physical activity for 5 days and up to 14 days.

After avoid sleeping on your face for 7 days.

After no makeup on the brow area for 2 weeks or until healed.

After no Botox or fillers around the brow area for 2 weeks post treatment.

During the consultation the client and technician will come up with a brow design that is suitable for the face shape preferences. The technician will map out the brows to create a look that the client and technician agree on. At this time, there will be an opportunity for any questions and concerns to be answered before the procedure begins. Post- treatment an aftercare form will be given on instructions for best results. 

If your appointment should need to be cancelled, it must be within 48 hours of your original appointment. If cancellation of the same appointment occurs more than once, it will be treated as cancelled/missed appointment and will be subject to fees or declining future appointment requests.

During the initial visit, all clients must read and sign a consent form. A consultaion will determine the clients desired brow shape and whether or not it is obtainable. In some cases a consulation can be done on the same day as the procedure.

Clients with previous tattoo or microblading that are interested in coverup/rework, must email a clear picture of their brows to Mylesofbeauty@fastmail.com  prior to booking their appointment. We cannot  guarantee results for cases such as these and must approve that your eyebrows are able to be worked on. In some cases where work is to dark, dense or discolored, tattoo removal will be highly recommended before we begin the re-work. 

Our artists will photograph their work before and after the treatment for many reasons including client records, insurance purposes and social media. We respect our clients privacy and edit the photos to display only in the treatment room. Clients may waive before and after photos from being utilized on social media.
